Refund Policy
Act and Ascend

1. General
All bookings and payments for services provided by Act and Ascend, including adventure-based wellbeing activities and psychology tutoring sessions, are processed online via Wix.
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds are provided.

2. Cancellation by You

More than 7 days:100% of booking fee
Less than 7 days: 50% of booking fee
Less than 48 hours: No refund
Non-attendance: No refund
All cancellations must be made via email to janjilla@actascend.co.uk. Emails will be timestamped and refunds acknowledged if within the above timeframes.
3. Cancellation by Act and Ascend
We may need to cancel or reschedule sessions due to:

Weather or safety concerns

Illness or unforeseen circumstances

Insufficient bookings
In such cases, you may choose:

A full refund, or
-
A rescheduled date mutually agreed upon.
4. Online Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Wix.

Act and Ascend is not responsible for technical issues caused by the payment platform.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used to make the booking.
5. Special Considerations

Tutoring sessions for under-18s require parental/guardian consent. Refunds follow the same timetable as above.

Any refund requests due to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, use the email below or send us an enquiry form.
Include:

Booking reference or receipt number

Name of participant

Date of session
Refunds will typically be processed within 7–14 working days.
7. No Other Refunds
Refunds are not available for:

Changes of mind
-
Technical difficulties on the participant’s end (internet, device, etc.)

Partial attendance of a session
